This paper is devoted to a detailed analysis of body images, its functions and roles that it plays in Ivana Sajko's drama titled 'Woman-bomb' (Zena-bomba, 2003). The writer in her play presents 12 minute and 36 second monologue of a woman-suicide bomber before detonating the explosive. The attractive literary strategies show important changes in the emotional, biological, cultural and social constructions of the Modern Woman. Presented by Sajko body creations reveal contemporary vision of the changing, transforming and labile Body. This crossing point between Nature and Culture - as a new character and dimension - took over the remaining discourses of the modern literature. The new representation of the embodied female subject, that feels, speaks and shows, confirms its tendency towards (self-)destruction and (de)composition to achieve the (self-)realisation.
