In 1971 Leszek Moszynski investigated verses of psalms in the Old Church Slavonic Apostle of Enin and suggested to analyse the other known younger texts of the Apostle as well. The author was trying to include Church Slavonic Apostle from the 16th century in textological investigations suggested by Moszynski. He compared excerpts of psalms in the Apostle with known Church Slavonic Books of Psalms, i.e. the Sinai Psalter, the Norov Psalter and with the Book of Psalms in the Ostrog Bible (1581). There are about 50 verses of psalms in the Apostle. Most of them are only paraphrases of a psalm. A preliminary analysis demonstrated similarities between verses of psalm in the Book of Psalms and the one in the Apostle. The precise analysis showed that there are many differences in inflexion and in syntax between the Book of Psalms and the Apostle. For example, Dativ is used in the verse of psalm in the Apostle and the Book of Psalms uses a Genetive. There are also some differences in the usage of forms of personal pronouns in the Apostle and in the Book of Psalms. Numerous lexical similarities between the Apostle and the Ostrog Psaltyr were noted as well. The author observed such similarities between these texts in inflection and syntax, but it is difficult to conclude that the texts depend one on another.
