Despite the Dayton Agreement in 1995 the conflict between ethnic communities in Bosnia perpetrates, the only thing that changed are the means of appropriating social and physic space. War is succeeded by conflict in the symbolic sphere, but not exclusively. Changes in the urban space of Bosnian cities, e.g. Stolac, Mostar or Sarajevo, show how politics inspired by nationalisms destroys common space, and leads to the creation of closed, monophonic groups hostile to one another. This process can be interpreted as an ultimate blow for the Bosnian culture as a specific entity.
