The article presents a typology of standard software customization methods. The analysis concerns issues related to MIS (Management Information Systems), particularly ERP/ERPII (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. The choice of points of view is based on authors' own approach to customization The following perspectives were distinguished and described: - Technical - Business processes, - Producer and provider, - Customer. Practical examples of customization methods the ERP / ERP II systems ware presented.
