The multidimensional criterion for estimation of the level of competitiveness of the regions of Ukraine using factor and cluster analysis has been offered. The elaborated model has been applied for the study of regions of Ukraine and their classification according to the level of competitiveness has been done. Based on the constructed model factors that influence the competitiveness of the relevant regional groups have been identified. Expediency and quality of the conducted calculations have been substantiated. The use of elaborated model for the synthetic assessment of the competitiveness of region's economy has been proposed.
