The paper deals with humorous entries inserted by chancellery officials in the castle court records of Great Poland in the 17th century. However, they are not specific of this region and period. They also appear in the 16th century as well as in other court registers of the Polish Commonwealth (registers of Chelm, Lvov). The fictitious entries imitate - typical of this kind of records - acts of legal nature, creating unrealistic, caricatural worlds - a deformed picture of the reality presented by the authentic documents.
