Since the 1850s, as a result of the Cecilian movement aimed at a renewal of religious music in Western Europe, many periodicals were devoted exclusively to religious music. In particular, this was also the case in Poland. The study discusses 'Choral', a monthly magazine representative of this group of periodicals with respect to its structure and from.
