The author of the article analyses the issue of 'the body and subjectivity of man' (personal 'I') in the poetry of Russian Symbolists – A. Blok and F. Sologub. The context of their poetic thinking about the body (F. Nietsche, W. Soloviov, I. Duncan et al.) is shown and the most important models and concepts of the thinking are discussed: the dancing (Dionysian) body, bodilessness and a body subjected to asceticism, the naked and erotic body, body as a means of communication with the world and the Other.
