The importance of bank sector in the economic system of the state, reasons of bank crises, their theoretical principles, signs and classifications, main methods of their forming have been elucidated. In addition, ways of the overcoming these crises in conditions of globalizational economy have been outlined. Important is application of historical system-structural and system-functional methods of research during the study of reasons of bank crises in the period of the last two generations
