The article presents information on the heretofore and current research on the Freising Manuscripts and suggests adopting a single Polish version of their name (the authoresses see the need to do so and propose that the phrase 'Zabytki fryzynskie' be used consequently). Moreover, the article contains the translation of the Manuscripts into the Polish language in its version prepared by the authoresses of the article, confronted with the translation by Leszek Moszynski.
