The expression of an artist and the environment of the stage are the inseparable constituents of perception when watching a concert on television. The visual sight dominates particularly in the sphere of a popular music. Recording of a concert requires creativity when choosing the contents of visual shots. The musical-dramatic works are the special category of television recording, processing and new production for television. Documentary production with the musical subjects influences the popularization of music. The development of the video shots is the result of interweaving of needs and possibilities of pop music and television broadcasting. Television musical macro-dramaturgy and micro-dramaturgy should lead to a content-balanced program. In the context of television broadcasting the shift from music being autonomous to that of functional is evident.
