Abstracts

The article was devoted to the transformation of drugs names. The most interesting are the deliberate conversion of names drugs. The authors of these transformations are the doctors, pharmacists, nurses and patients. Often, the replacement or transformation of drug trade names is intended to hide the shame and fear that are associated with the disease. The replaced names show the patient’s attitude to disease, treatment and even death.

Článek je věnován transformacím názvů léků, zvláště pak záměrným změnám pojmenování léků. Autory těchto změn jsou lékaři, lékárníci, zdravotní sestry a pacienti. Ke změně nebo nahrazení názvu léku názvem jiným dochází často s cílem zamaskovat stud a strach spojený s chorobou. Vzniklé názvy vyjadřují pacientův postoj k chorobě, léčbě nebo i ke smrti.
