The article deals with the history of the Polish-Czechoslovak scientific-technical cooperation after the 2nd World War in the years 1947–1971 in the frame of the so-called Sofia arrangements of The Council for Mutual Economic Assistance (COMECON). It describes the activities of the bilateral committee and subsequent committees in the 50s and 60s of the 20th century. The study presents especially the changes in the regulational sphere of the Polish-Czechoslovak scientific-technical relations.
