The identification of the financial condition of a company is very useful. The main purposes of the study are: (1) usage of a Polish model of discrimination analysis in the assessment of the financial condition of companies involved in the manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment (division 25, PKD 2007) in Opolskie Voivodship, (2) the financial situation estimation of analysed enterprises with high bankruptcy probability with the usage of ratio analysis. The study uses data from Monitor Polski B.
