Abstracts
This paper covers problems of European Union regional development policy in years 2000-2006 and conseąuences of that policy for Poland. There are eight chapters of presented paper entitled: introduction (role of cohesion in European Union); instruments of cohesion policy in European Union in years 2000-2006; evaluation of effects of cohesion policy in European Union; sixth cohesion report of EU from year 1999; European Spatial Development Perspective — report from 1999; assistance from EU to Poland in years 2000-2006 to achieve cohesion (before and after accession); expected results of use of european funds in Poland; conclusions (international and interregional cohesion). Part of the study is a table with projected assistance from European Union to Poland in years 2000-2006.
