Usprawnienia systemu rachunkowości – w związku z wyodrębnianiem rachunkowości finansowej i rachunkowości zarządczej jako dwóch podsystemów rachunkowości – powinny dotyczyć procesów rachunkowości związanych z obu tymi obszarami rachunkowości. Celem artykułu jest charakterystyka dwóch komplementarnych metod usprawniania procesów rachunkowości w kontekście koncepcji dojrzałości procesowej organizacji. Wywody oparto na studiach literaturowych i metodzie dedukcji.

Improvements accounting system – in connection with the separation of financial accounting and management accounting as the two subsystems – should concern accounting processes related to both of these areas of accounting. The purpose of this article is to characterize the two complementary methods of improving accounting processes in the context of the concept of process maturity of the organization.
