Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie uwarunkowań budowania relacji pomiędzy klientami i dostawcami w rozwoju innowacji produktowych. Analizując działania przedsiębiorstw na podstawie najnowszej literatury przedmiotu oraz raportów opublikowanych przez przedsiębiorstwa, można zaobserwować, iż producenci wyrobów gotowych (OEMs), projektując nowe produkty, wymagają od dostawców przestrzegania rygorystycznych wymagań prawnych w zakresie zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa oferowanych rozwiązań, a także niwelowania negatywnego wpływu na środowisko naturalne. Przedsiębiorstwa będące producentami wyrobów gotowych (OEMs) nie ograniczają się wyłącznie do stawiania rygorystycznych wymagań dostawcom. Wiele koncernów międzynarodowych chcąc zapewnić wysoką jakość kupowanych produktów, oferuje swoim dostawcom specjalne programy rozwoju.

The aim of this article is to present the conditions to build relationships between customers and suppliers in the development of product innovations. Analyzing the activities of companies it can be observed that Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) designing new products require suppliers to comply with stringent legal requirements to ensure the safety of technical parameters as well as limiting the negative impact on the environment of their solutions. Original Equipment Manufacturers are not limited to putting stringent requirements of suppliers. Many multinationals wishing to ensure the high quality of the products offers providers the special support programs.
