Od kilku lat rośnie liczba funduszy inwestycyjnych stosujących aktywne strategie zarządzania portfelem, w szczególności strategie polegające na dostosowaniu poziomu ryzyka systematycznego do prognozowanej koniunktury giełdowej. W związku z tym pojawia się pytanie o umiejętności zarządzających tymi funduszami w stosowaniu tego typu strategii. Umiejętność stosowania strategii przez zarządzających przekłada się na efektywność funduszy, dlatego celem artykułu jest ocena umiejętności stosowania aktywnych strategii inwestycyjnych na podstawie efektywności funduszy inwestycyjnych. Ocena efektywności jest dokonywana w oparciu o model Treynora-Mazuya oraz Henrikssona-Mertona.

For several years, there is a growing number of mutual funds using active portfolio management strategies, in particular, the strategies involving adjusting systematic risk to forecast of the stock market situation. In this context, there is the question of management skills in these kind of funds. The aim of this article is to evaluate the effectiveness of the mutual funds that use active management strategies. Evaluation of the effectiveness is carried out based on the Treynor-Mazuy Model and the Henriksson-Merton Model.
