The traditional format for Power Point presentation slides – a phrase headline supported by a bullet list – has recently been criticized for predictability, vagueness and monotony. These objections seem to be of particular concern in terms of education, especially because of the fact that Power Point has lately become an ubiquitous instructional technology. Currently, the dominant trend in the presentation technology is an alternative design that shows a clear tendency towards domination of the graphics over text. As demonstrated in this article, an alternative method is not fully useful in educational presentations. The aim of this article is to present a method that modifies an alternative design and adapts it to the specific teaching purposes.
