On the basis of material found in the cemetery in Charzewice, it can be assumed that it dates back to the 5th period of the Bronze Epoch and the Hallstatt period. The “San Valley vases”, generally regarded as a form typical for the 5th period of the Bronze Epoch, can be considered indicators of the lower chronological limit. The possibility of those vessels occurring during the Hallstatt C period, when they could have been cultural relics cannot be ruled out, either. The upper dividing line for dating the cemetery seems to be indicated by a nail-like earring made from bronze, frequently found in the local cemeteries of the Tarnobrzeg group, dated to the Hallstatt D period. Previously discussed ceramic forms as well as vessel ornamentation fit into the so determined chronological framework of the cemetery. Carrying out excavation work in the discussed cemetery of the Tarnobrzeg group in the future might seem appropriate, as it would undoubtedly allow for its more precise dating and making a proper archaeological documentation.
