Abstracts
The issue of animals, approach to them, their rights and status have clearly gained importance in social and cultural life today, as well as in philosophy and science. The traditional positions and ways of articulation in considering this issue have now been complemented by new areas, such as ecology or non-anthropocentric humanities. Several questions arise in the context of such debates: 1) what is the contribution of culture-related reflection to these areas, and 2) how are these areas interpreted by it.
