When Cosmas described the location of the mound of Princess Kazi on the bank of the River Mže in his chronicle he used a generally known geographic indication − the path from Prague, running close to the mound, over Osek Mountain, to the Bechyně Region. The indicated mountain which reliably identified this path in the early 12th century ceased to exist in the course of centuries and nowadays cannot be used as a clear orientation spot any more.
