The author analyses the occurrence of impersonal verbs and impersonal variants of personal verbs functioning as fundaments of one-member sentences as they are used in phraseological units of Slovak language. He defines the category of person in grammatical and lexical level of language system and position of personal and impersonal verbs in grammar and lexis.
