The author is presenting some aspects of one of the form of country tourism in Lower Silesia, e.g. agrotourism. First agrotouristic farms appeared at the beginning of 1990s. Their number increased from 5 in 1992 to 608 in 2010 (table 1), and dynamics of their increasing was stonger in the first years of the period (table 2). From 2001 r. the dynamics’ index (with the exception of the year 2002) gradually decreased. The greatest concentration of the agrotouristic farms in the period was observed in six regions: Table Mountains, Izerskie Mountains and Foothills, Owl Mountains, Kaczawskie Mountains and Foothills, Karkonosze Mountains, Jeleniogórska Valley, Śnieżnik Mountains and Bialskie Mountains (table 3). Lately agrotourism developed in other regions: not connected with Sudetes mountains – Lower Silesian Wilderness, Trzebnickie Hills and Barycz Valley, and in Sudetes mountains – Kłodzko Valley, Stone Mountains and Wałbrzych Mountains, Golden Mountains and Bardzkie Mountains.
