It is already more than half a Century that Brussels-based bureaucracy, a specific social group also called Eurocracy, has played a very important role in initiating, shaping and managing the processes of European integration. Its role is even more significant, considering how European political élite contributes to balanced and sustained, more harmonious development of the European Communities/EU under conditions of crises and problems periodically recurring over the history of European integration. As it happens, it always occurs that bodies of European administration, thanks to their vast experience, prove well-prepared to cope with any such hardship and capable of making constructive use thereof to the benefit of the process of building united Europe.
