Relations between Christianity and philosophy for most researchers have always been strained. Many theories argued and continue to contest that Christianity was the one that in its beginning marginalised philosophy. This paper deals about the comments of Saint Photios on substance and beings of Aristotle’s Categories. The offer of Photios in this project of paramount importance should be considered for the philosophic education and its theological valuation.
