There are currently available numerous ways of building Enterprise Architecture and managing IT services. However, a synergy effect between them does not exist. The article presents the author concept of harmonization of these concepts. For this purpose, a meta-model containing Enterprise Architecture and IT services management terminology has been developed. It is then possible to ensure a common understanding of terms for those stakeholders who are engaged in architectural works and those who implement IT services management. Furthermore, in the article there is proposed a structured approach (the HUZAR technique) which enables a selection of appropriate elements of IT services management and Enterprise Architecture, and then linking them in order to form a complementary whole.
