Zagadnienie samotnego ojcostwa stanowi jeden z bardziej interesujących, aczkolwiek nadal mało zgłębionych, obszarów badań nad rodziną i rodzicielstwem.

The phenomenon of single fatherhood constitutes one of the most interesting, but not yet fully explored areas of research related to family and parenthood. The purpose of this study was to investigate how children evaluate their single fathers. The paper was based on data from qualitative and quantitative studies conducted throughout the last four decades. The results of the overview indicate that the current status quo of the research on single fathers in the perception of their children is still unsatisfactory. Therefore, there is a need for further studies in this area.
