Artykuł przedstawia wyniki badania aktywności menedżera przeprowadzonego za pomocą obserwacji z wykorzystaniem narzędzi menedżerskich online i w oparciu o autorską koncepcję układu wielkości organizacyjnych. Koncepcja układu wielkości organizacyjnych łączy podejście zasobowe i podejście procesowe w naukach o zarządzaniu. Jednocześnie pozwala na dokładny pomiar aktywności menedżera w funkcji czasu oraz analizę treści jego aktywności. Jako przykład wykorzystania układu wielkości organizacyjnych w artykule pokazano opis aktywności menedżera ustalającego cele i określającego zadania w projekcie. Dane na temat jego aktywności przedstawiają procesy podejmowane przez menedżera, ich zależności czasowe oraz ich treść.

In the paper there are results of the research on managerial activity. The research was conducted by the observation method together with online management tools and it was based on the concept of the system of organizational terms. This original concept combines the resource approach and the process approach in the management science. The advantage of this combination is a precise measurement of managerial activities and an ability to present the activities in time and content domains. As an example of using the system of organizational terms there is a description of a managerial work which consisted of setting goals and describing tasks in the project. There are data and conclusions on the managerial activity in time and content domains.
