The audit covered almost all stages of the hunting management, starting with administrative activities, such as division of regions into hunting districts and categorisation thereof, leasing of hunting districts and their management transfer, as well as calculation and distribution of rent for their use. The issues related directly to hunting have also been audited, such as the regularity and realisation of annual hunting plans, documentation of hunting, realisation of statutory objectives by game protection centres, securing of the State Treasury’s and citizens’ interests with regard to damages due to hunting, analysis of financial results of hunting management, the functioning of the State Hunting Guard, and the supervision of hunting.
