W obecnych czasach bezdomność nie jest już jak kiedyś wyłączną sprawą państw narodowych, lecz dotyczy całej Unii Europejskiej. Transnarodowość zjawiska, a jednocześnie silny związek między powinnościami władz lokalnych a przeciwdziałaniem mu powinna skłaniać do refleksji nad wpływem władz lokalnych i regionalnych na to zjawisko w Unii Europejskiej. W artykule poprzez analizę opinii Komitetu Regionów, starano się wskazać czy a jeżeli tak, to w jaki sposób instytucja ta wpływa na problem bezdomności w Unii Europejskiej.

Nowadays homelessness is not as before, a sole issue of nation states, but concern the whole the UE. Transnationality of the issue, and paralel strong conection between duties local government and homelessness prevention should lead to reflection on the influences local and regional authorities in the UE. In this paper, throught analisis opinions of Committee of Regions, we should indicate whether, and if so, how the Committee of Regions indicate on the problem of homelessness in the UE
