Praca, która jest ważną formą aktywności ludzi i ich cechą gatunkową, nie stała się jeszcze obiektem sozologii systemowej ani przedmiotem ochrony. Nie zwracano uwagi na jej degradację i deprecjację postępującą w przyspieszonym tempie wraz z komodyfikacją w warunkach gospodarki rynkowej. Dlatego postu-luję dalsze rozwijanie ekologii pracy i powołanie do życia nowej subdziedziny w ramach ekologii społecznej – sozologii pracy. W artykule formułuję twier-dzenia odnoszące się do ekologii pracy. Mają one zmusić do refleksji decyden-tów politycznych i ekonomicznych nad zagrożeniami pracy i jej środowiska oraz zwrócić uwagę na potrzebę szeroko rozumianej ochrony pracy.

Work, which is an important form of human activity and a characteristic feature of our species, has not yet become the object of systematic sozology or the subject of protection. Nobody has paid attention to the degradation and de-preciation progressing at an accelerated pace with the commodification of work in a market economy.Therefore, I postulate further development of the ecology of work and the creation of the new subdomain within the social ecology – the sozology of work. This paper contains statements relating to the ecology of work. They are supposed to force the decision makers (politicians and economists) to reflect upon the threats related to work and its environment, and to protect them in a wide sense.
