The study is an attempt to assess the current state of development of agro-tourism in Poland and on the basis of the directions of its development. The article presents the current state number for the number of lodgings and conditions of this state. Based on the Document Government recognizes the need to support the development of rural tourism based on the high attractiveness of the tourism potential of the Polish countryside. It shows a strong, weaknesses, opportunities and risks associated with the development of tourism.
