This article aims to survey of the job search theory. The contents of the article are divided into five sections. The first section describes the main assumptions of the job search theory. The second section is devoted to the nonsequential search model. The third section of the article concerns the sequential search model. The next section presents the impact of inflation on job search. The last section is devoted to determinants of the asking wage.
