The article is devoted to head protection from the sixteenth and seventeenth century. At present these objects are in the possession of the Military Museum – Department of the City Museum of Wroclaw. The aforementioned helmets were produced in provincial armourer’s workshops. They do not have any marks on them but are made in accordance with workmanship. The helmet used for the tournament is the only one we can accurately identify and assign the possible place of its origin as well as determine where it was used with certainty. The article provides the exact parameters of the exhibits (height, width, length and weight). They were compared with other object from the museum collections. Their advantage is the completeness, originality and a very good state of preservation which proves they were properly stored by the previous owners.
