Artykuł został poświęcony obywatelom II Rzeczypospolitej, którzy w wyniku represji sowieckich okresu 1940–1941 znaleźli się w północnych okręgach europejskiej części ZSRR (obwody archangielski, wołogodzki, Komi). Uwagę skoncentrowano na ostatnim okresie pobytu deportowanych i okolicznościach repatriacji do kraju. Tekst został oparty na literaturze przedmiotu, opublikowanych dokumentach, a także dokumentach z archiwów polskich i rosyjskich.

The article is devoted to Polish nationals who found themselves in the northern regions of the European part of the USSR (Districts of Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Komi) as a result of Soviet repressions of 1940–1941. The author focuses on the last period of their stay there and on the circumstances of their repatriation to Poland. The article is based on the literature on the subject, published documents as well as documents from Polish and Russian archives.
