In today’s journalistic and sometimes even scientific narrative, often exists the opinion that the participation in the security organs of the communist state and membership of the PPR/PZPR in the first years after World War II, stemmed from the unfamiliarity with the regime that was imposed since 1944. The article aims to reveal the extent of knowledge about the Soviets and communism that the anti-communist underground had at the time and what it communicated to the public. This article has been based on posters and flyers distributed by various underground structures in the Lublin area.
