There are no formal obstacles preventing a member of a Sejm committee conducting a public hearing from presenting the position of a person who has expressed interest in the legislative work and has thereby fulfilled the condition for participation in the public hearing. Such action by a committee member may be based on a statutory relationship of representation or a power of attorney granted by the person represented.
