Artykuł prezentuje teizm otwarty: koncepcję Boga powstałą w latach 80-tych XX. wieku w Stanach Zjednoczonych, która -zdaniem jej twórców (W. Hasker, D. Basinger i in.) - ma stanowić drogę środka między teizmem klasycznym a teizmem filozofii procesu. W niniejszym tekście zostaje omówiony aspekt historyczny i metodologiczny teizmu otwartego, jego główne twierdzenia, założenia i implikacje oraz zastosowania do wybranych zagadnień z zakresu filozofii Boga i religii.

The article presents open theism: a conception of God that arose in the 1980s in the United States and that, in the opinion of its creators (W. Hasker, D. Basinger and others), is meant to constitute a middle road between classical theism and the theism of process philosophy. In the present text the author discusses the historical and methodological aspects of open theism, its principal claims, presuppositions and implications, and its applications to selected issues in the philosophy of God and religion.
