The ethnic music is constantly becoming more and more popular, it has been created and recreated, mixed and transformed by, as Theodor Adorno would say, cultural industry, it is getting highly comercial and unlocalizable. The work of ethnomusicologist used to be to collecting tradicional music. In Zalewski view ethnomusicologist nowadays has to find a way to save native music but also to animate it, to make it alive and what is important – not to forget that music is not a closed, stable structure.
