Information-communication technology is so generally used that there is no area of life in which it is not applied. In recent years, the concept of Smart City is getting more and more popular, which is a response to the increasing needs of improving communication and information processes in the management of cities. In this area modern ICT solutions cover wider and wider range, and they implement the concept of Smart City. Thus the article discusses the main solutions of information and communication technologies (ICT) used in Smart City and further directions and possibilities of ICT implementation in this area.
