Jerzy Grabowski (1933–2004) is one of the most important representatives of geometric abstraction in European graphic art. His work based on mathematical structures had its roots in the European avant-garde and the Bauhaus theory of colour. Grabowski's graphics can be found in the collections of many Polish museums and galleries. These graphics were accompanied by hundreds of less known, fascinating sketches and notes, which are the key to a deeper understanding of the artist.
