Tekst prezentuje przebieg terapii logopedycznej chłopca z autyzmem w ramach studium indywidualnego przypadku. Mając na uwadze charakter zaburzonych funkcji oraz możliwości psychofizyczne dziecka opracowano program terapii mowy, wydzielając w nim dwa etapy: przygotowujący oraz właściwy etap terapii mowy. Bazą dla rozpoczęcia wszelkich działań terapeutycznych w odniesieniu do chłopca z autyzmem było opanowanie przez niego kluczowych umiejętności, takich jak: spokojne siedzenie, uważne patrzenie, ograniczenie zbędnych ruchów ciała itp. Podczas realizacji programu terapeutycznego podkreśla się wiodącą rolę terapeuty mowy, który organizuje zajęcia z dzieckiem pod kątem zdobycia przez niego konkretnej umiejętności.

The text presents the course of a speech therapy of an autistic child within the framework of an individual case study. Considering the character of disordered functions and psychological and physical aptitude of the child, the speech therapy program was prepared in two stages: the first, preparatory one and the proper, speech therapeutic one. The commencement of any therapeutic actions related to the autistic boy was to master the key skills such as sitting still, attentive looking, limiting unnecessary body movements, etc. During the realization of the therapeutic program, what is emphasized is the leading role of a speech therapist who organizes the classes with the child, bearing in mind his acquisition of a specific skill.
