The study presents the role of the Government in the creation of farm advisory policy, with particular emphasis on its importance to the conditions for the implementation of advisory services. On the basis of the documents that summarize the activities of the Working Group of the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (CWG AKIS) within the framework of the Standing Committee on Agricultural Research (SCAR), including SWG report AKIS “Knowledge and Innovation Systems of farming to the future – the foresight“, in relation to the consultancy services shows you how to approach implementation consulting services. Attention was also on the synergies between the objectives pursued and the Government policy advisory services with the funds and advisory support interactive model of innovation in agriculture. The proposals should contribute to the construction of efficient farm advisory system, effectively supporting the development of the agro-food sector and rural areas.
