The article deals with the problem of national patriotic education of students within higher education system. The authors examine this issue within language training courses for future professionals, as far as native language is considered to be one of the fundamental values of national education. The paper substantiates the concept of «national patriotic education» and «value orientation» of students, justifies their importance in the process of high linguistic culture personality development. The authors propose effective forms and methods of interaction between students and teachers for the development of strong patriotic feelings within the process of teaching the course «Ukrainian language for professional purposes». The interrelation between learning motivation of non-philologically specialized students of higher educational establishments with implementation of national patriotic education elements is shown. It was made an attempt to investigate the problem of increasing motivational needs, through the detailed analysis of the structure of motives and incentives of factors that contribute to the development of positive motivation for students to study their native language. It is also investigated the efficiency of training’s using as a means to increase the motivation to learn. It is stressed the peculiarity of teaching disciplines of the linguistic cycle is extremely powerful potential for educational impact on students, it is emphasized that good implementation can contribute effective means of increasing motivation for development of culture-language personality of the specialists. There are also defined the conditions aimed at increasing the effective organization of patriotic qualities of all participants in the educational process. The authors describe the special features of the patriotic education of future teachers. The Ukrainian language department academic staff experience in the sphere of the national patriotic education by means of media is also represented in the paper. It is proved that the application of such methods into educational process as students conferences, web forums, flash mobs meet required conditions for forming the positive motivation to teaching and learning process of future specialists.
