W niniejszym artykule podjęto próbę określenia relacji pomiędzy ujęciem Marcina Lutra pojęcia oeconomia a biblijną koncepcją, określaną jako oikonomia i tak samo brzmiącym pojęciem u Arystotelesa. Część pierwsza artykułu przygotowuje grunt pod rozważenie stosowania terminu oikonomia przez antycznego filozofa. Część druga zestawia to użycie z pojęciem oeconomia, do jakiego odwołuje się Luter w swoim „Komentarzu do Psalmu 127.” Artykuł zamyka refleksja nad pożytkami, płynącymi z odwołania się przez Lutra do Arystotelesa dla kształtowania pojęcia oeconomia.

The article seeks to tease out the relation between Martin Luther’s concept of oeconomia in comparison to the biblical concept of oikonomia and the same concept in Aristotle. Section 1 lays the groundwork by examining Aristotle’s usage of oikonomia. Section 2 brings this into dialogue with Luther’s use of oeconomia in his “Exposition of Psalm 127.” The article concludes by reflecting on what benefit there is in Luther’s use of Aristotle for the development of oeconomia.
