The aim of this article is to provide a description of the paradigm of the phraseological unit iść w odstawkę [Eng. to be put out of pasture]. The inflectional profile of this unit begins with the demonstration whether the unit has a perfective counterpart. Furthermore, the level of paradigm correlation between the verbal component and equiform verb paradigm is established. The inflectional analysis proves that even though it is possible to attribute all the features of grammatical categories of the lexem iść to the phraseological unit in question, the frequency of some forms is so low that their correctness may raise some doubts. These are, for example, forms of past tenses and present participle. The imperative form of this unit is problematic as well.
