Obecnie posiada on ogromne kompetencje proceduralne i administracyjne, a tym samym wpływ na końcowe rozstrzygnięcia w sprawach cywilnych. W artykule analizowano pozytywne i negatywne aspekty takiego stanu rzeczy.

The role of chairman of supreme court of The Russian Federation in civil procedure is of interest to research since chairman has both administrative and procedural powers. Current legislation provides for enormous powers of the Chairman of Supreme Court to influence the civil case movement and its final result. Not all of them are of positive nature.
