In this text I’m trying to discredit the discourse associated with the ineffability of liminal experiences (especially in the broad sense of war and its derivatives). I’m dealing with newer (modern) history, including the phenomenon of wartime images being given awards at the World Press Photo competition. What is important to me is Frank Ankersmit’s thought, referring to correspondence history and aesthetics. I’m also writing about game and play categories in thinking about history in contemporary literature and social media (fan pages on Facebook).
