This paper discusses the history of the almost seventy-year-old War Studies University Main Library. The anniversary provides not only the opportunity to remind the Library’s history, but it also allows a brief discussion on enhancing its mission in the future as a result of the forthcoming digitization of its resources. The article emphasizes the uniqueness of the Library’s resources, which reflects the scientific achievements of the university’s personnel and academics, mainly in the field of security and defence. Moreover, the author also discusses the structure of the Library’s resources.
